go for desire hd, it doesn't have battery issues considering it has a a very large screen (4.3inches) compared to other smartphones and with only 1,230mAh battery capacity, my dhd lasted 1 1/2day normal use with wifi and gps set to always on.

Got a desire hd 2 weeks ago. Battery life is not that great but accepatable ra. I charge it once a day. Sometimes twice and sometimes three times in two days. But i call a lot at around 3-5hours a day and i use wifi about an hour. So yeah the battery life is satisfactory for me.

DHD part kay dakog screen, ok raman ang battery i upgrade lang nimo ang rom sa XDA

installed a screen protector that needs water and soap application.. there are signs that liquid went in the lcd.. tsk.. any idea if this can still be repaired? also, i purchased an extended warranty from memox sm. hope they will cover this as they said water damage would not be covered. the white part of the battery did not turn red/pink so it does not indicate water damage.
