Ah, that makes more sense. I didn't know they'd damaged the tail on landing. I'd just heard a lot of talk about mechanical failure.
Tungod na sa EMP, mao na crush ang helicapterr! hahahaha... Other explanation is daghan ug negative Ion content(due to Arid/cold climate) mao nang na short circuit ang electronics)... Hahahaha... Hahahaha... It's hard to take it seriously... just to stimulate your thoughts...

agree to all posts in this thread. i think i heard a cnn correspondent say that osama bin laden may be dead but the reign of terror is far from over. my husband wasn't very excited with the news coz intuitively, of course, nakapili na sila ug apprentice nya. daghaaaaaan na kau na sila ug back-up leaders. mga very eager, willing and able pud. personally, i'm just praying na maytag the new leader won't be able to unify all terrorist forces. like ang mga aspiring osama bin laden wannabees kay magka-internal squabble amongst themselves...
naa daw daghan babae c bin laden mga idols? hayahaya...
nice pic above da. resourceful jud kaayo ni sila

Q2: as explained b4, they might've damaged the tail rotor w/c would leave little control of the aircraft, better to detonate it & hitch another ride, why detonate it? because most of the blackhawk's hardware would still be classified to civilians & ordinary people.. what if they dont detonate it & they couldnt secure the place, looting from civilians & more frigteningly from the enemy might happen.. so the most logical thing to do is to detonate the wreckage..
Q1 & Q3: i dont think the choppers were hovering the whole time the assault took place, at the given time of 38 mins. ,these choppers would be not really sitting ducks (since they're equipped w/ chain guns w/c would fire 3000 rounds per minute) BUT they could be vulnerable to rpg attacks & ground fire.. the logical way to do this is the choppers drop the seal team, make exit.. & another fleet of choppers would be arriving to pick them up after the operation (since i think they already have a timeline how long the OP is going to run)
at the time of the operation, the best cover they're gonna get is from an AC130 spectre... w/c is an upgrade of the c130, it is equiped w/ chain guns, & big guns.. night vision, infra red cams.. its actually playable in COD if you play the game.. why the AC130? while the op is going on inside the mansion, any reinforcements w/c would come near the mansion (tanks & cars), the spectre would blow it in a few seconds & it will hover higher than the choppers so it is safer from ground fire & it will be equipped to neutralize shoulder fired heat seaking rockets.. the ac130 spectre is the perfect logical choice for cover fire in this mission..
