(just an example though, but it's not just mere opinion, if presented with valid information, those will look exactly the same as this one)

IF, BPO companies and Contact Centers weren't existing, where will those 101,000 individuals go?

many misconceptions about Contact Centers are running through each of those who are not knowledgeable about the industry.

but if you try to get to know more about the importance of such industry, then might as well scan about those misconceptions or consider negative words about such industry AND AT THE SAME TIME, realize some of the POSITIVE side about these agencies existence.

Hooray, 100k filipinos with dead-end futures.

100k underpaid filipinos helping overpaid ignorant americans, which actually don't count as a "service".

    Oh, wait, that ain't right!

But then again some overenthusiastic follower seems to think this is reason to celebrate.

Where would those 100k go if walay call center? probably abroad raking in dollars like korea used to do. at least it inspires resourcefulness.

if you think you can do better, quit and go for it. why bash those who are happy to have a job?

Is it because you are stuck with yours? how much is underpaid? Php15,000/month? Php150,000/month? If you can't give a solution, then do not be part of the problem. Do you get paid telling people they are exploited? wow! what a job.

I am doing better. Whatever deluded thing in your brain gave you the idea I wasn't? They're happy to have a job? Better get back to reality, bai. Maayo ko ug trabaho kai wala ko nag apil2x sa ratsada anang "uso" na courso. I followed what I wanted and stuck with it.

Yes I also get paid telling people they are exploited. And every time some naive CA tells me they earn well and ask me how much I earn I get this remark: Huh? That's more than what my manager is earning. PWNED

Yes dude. I have a great job NOT being a CA. Turn green. Turn green with envy! lol PWND

Here's another point. Some industries claim to provide jobs but none of them ever bring up turnovers. Taas kaayo ug turnovers ang call center.

Let me give you another example. Recycling garbage provides jobs daw for lower class families. What the gov't never said was that the turnover rate was 1 week.

Yes, bai, these industries provide jobs but they are jobs that NO ONE wants. Does that rank as a solution? Para di ka moingon biased ko, I have a family member who works FOR a call center. Turnover? Months, weeks, days even.

That raises eyebrows na daan bai. Provide more jobs daw but ang mga tao dili makakalahutay.

If you want to see how effective a certain niche in jobs are check the turnover rate. IF daghan manghawa ug sa pangsulod then it's not a good job.

Those are secrets companies and gov'ts never tell you.

    Off Topic.

If you have to ask, you cant afford it. Talk is cheap, very cheap.

Doesnt make much financial sense if you buy

    1) by installment? you are the banks best friend. Definitely you are living high.
    2) my first 2 macs were bought before ebay started in 1995, DPSI was Philippine reseller. Besides, you dont save much on Apple products as Apple fix prices. If you want to know where to buy cheap new macs, go to .......
hey that is a service (providing you with info) that requires payment. Please call our call center agents who would gladly help you.

^^ or i can go to google who provide it for free. And i never heard of a call center providing service for a free. lol. The brands usually pay for you. Not us. I doubt you have any idea what your industry is like.

Di lang nako patulan imo pahangin. Typical mana of someone with your job.

Basta I know my credit card agents don't deal with people like you. Di daw mo mamayad ug UTANG. Kinda makes me wonder how many decades it took you to pay for your bling.

Are Indian call centers a dying breed? - How the World Works - Salon.com

Better news. For India, that is. Not for us who will have to fill the backlog/salin.
