Unta dili musundog ang Cebu sa Manila. The most densely populated city in the WORLD! 43,079 people per squared kilometer. tsk tsk. Ngano man pud ning mga pinoy gusto man jud mahimo'g Manila boys and girls? Muadto sa Manila kay gusto para muasensyo daw, naa daw didto ang daghang kwarta, in the end, mahimo ra gihapon ug one of the millions of squatters na mag-agad ra sa sunod na rally sa EDSA. Makakita man gani'g trabaho, dili enough ang salary to defray the cost of living. Panguli mo mga dodong ug Inday sa inyo respective provinces. For me, it's better to live a boring ang parochial life sa barrio kaysa mag-antos na murag ilaga sa ciudad.

Kini pud intawn ato political system, i-siphon man pud tanan resources ngadto sa Manila. Gamay na lang mabilin sa provinces, paksian pa jud sa mga local buayas. Mao hinay kaayo development sa countryside. Mao nang hantod karun Manila is the Philippines gihapon. tsk tsk

i saw this one pud.. i can't say nga tough jud xa nga tough in the sense if you know how to drive manually okay raman..

the only thing of being tough in the documentary is the pollution and the amount of cars on the streets..

worst is, undisciplined pa jud.. tsktsk..

Holy crap I went to A1 TOO and I recognized one of the songs used, after when Josh visits the province. Mumford and Sons - Dust Bowl dance. Haha small world.


This docu was really well done, most of the time I find these types too exploitative of people's poverty.


Still my sympathies for the millions of Filipinos living like that. I try to do my part, I give Manong driver my fare + 1. It isn't much but I hope that helps them.
