Guys, unsay ma recommend ninyo na nindot nga vampire2 na anime?!

So far, mao pa ni akong natan-awan jud:
- Vampire Knight
- Trinity Blood
- Blood+ (though dili jud sili purely vampires pero mypgka man..)

If you want a vampire story that stays true to how vampires were generally perceived before Twilight raped the whole vampire concept, I highly recommend these two titles:

Shiki
– Story is rather sluggish at first, but the story progression was clearly becoming something unique (compared to recent vampire anime titles). It was good enough to make me watch it while it was still being aired, and that’s saying a lot since I have this stubborn habit of watching an anime only after it’s released on BDs/DVDs.

Dance in the Vampire Bund
– the anime wasn’t as good as the manga. They tried to put too much in an anime which has only 12 episodes, resulting in a quite confusing story. However, the manga shares the same dark atmosphere that Shiki excels at.

Other vampire titles with a less serious theme, but are enjoyable to watch:

Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase & Chibi Vampire Karin – both romance-comedy anime with vampires as main characters.

Special mention:

Bakemonogatari
– the vampire element does not play a heavy role in the plot but it serves as a background for some of the characters.... Nah, who am I kidding. This:

it's a cute vampire who likes Doughnuts. It's enough to make you watch it.

also, in your quest for vampire animes, avoid Legend of DUO by all means. It's a horribad vampire anime.
