AI is just giving he sperm help na makaabot sa egg..kay there are times na dili maka conceive ang couple because naa antisperm antibodies and female, too acidic and vaginal canal for the sperm, too slow ang sperm motility, low and sperm count and etc....

Ang IVF man gud eggs and sperm are taken then mixed in a petri dish den and doctof ang mag pa fertilize...pwede na xa e deritso ug balik sa imu fallopian tube after fertilization mao na ang gtawag nga gamete intra fallopian tube IVF...sa GIFT na IVF dako ang chances for multiple babies..ang another form is ZIFT or the zygote intra fallopian tube IVF...from the petri dish..padak.on sa ang zygotes den you get t choose whch zygote ang ibutang balik sa imu fallopian tube...his type of ivf for me is very selfish kay daghan man gud eggs and ma fertilize den katong d au healthy ug dagko na na fertilize na eggs usually e.discard naman gud na den i think d na xa sakto kay it like your playing God na...

Hi everyone..i'm new here.. actually, all of these (IVF, IUI, GIFT, etc) are artificial inseminations(AI) or also ART(assisted reproductive technology)..i myself have undergone IUI (intrauterine insemination)..i think this is what is meant sa AI dri sa forum.. anywayz, i and akong dh, have been through a lot na when it comes to gusto maka anak..

About IUI...(done this about 6x, unfortunately, wala mi makabuo)...as what haidee_08 have said, giving the sperm a help para makaabot sa egg..i-wash ang sperm ani before ibutang near sa entrance sa fallopian tube..

About IVF...(we have not gone through this but we are planning to)...according to wikipedia( naks!) is a process by which egg cells are fertilised by sperm outside the body, in vitro..now, i'm not against this..actually, nagplano gani mi na magpa IVF..correction lang gamay sa na post before..sa uterus ibalik ang embryo, dili sa fallopain tube..hehe..and what i know is that you can always choose kung pila ka embryo ang ibalik..mostly, 2 ang ibalik but the patient can always say na isa lang..depende sa quality sa egg na na-produce, or how many ang na fertilized or how many ang mi-survive..

Ang akong cousin kay sa Cebu Doc daw cla. but im not sure sa details maybe ang OB ra taga Cebu Doc. Pero nagpa AI cla then twins ang ilang anak. Preggy pa ang asawa sa akong cousin today. I dunno the cost though...

My ob now suggested for iui after my polyp removal. My ob found out that i have adenomyosis and lisod jud dW ko preggy. Mahadlok man ko sa iui kay mostly sa akong na read dili man successful nila ang iui bisag 6th times na nila. And dili sad biy bArato ang iui. Kinsa ninyo naka success fully conceived with iui guys?
