blue screen is cause by hardware problem, either VC, rams. it maybe cause also by your drivers. or maybe ang imo mobo ati chipset then your using nvidia vc. wala na au ug install ang gart. based lang ni sa akong experience

try ug gamit na walay battery. remove ang battery pack then observe

kasagara una mobigay ang memory..

if duha imo memory. isa sa gamita then test. basin memory prob ana then check na pud nimo ang other memory..
mao ra na sa akoa mokalit reset or pilit lang ug iya...

naa pud posibilidad HD badsector. check

done installing avast antivirus.. i tried to do a full system scan.. it froze again on 35% of scanning then it rebooted.. haaaaaaaaaaaaaay.. kapoy kapoy lang format..

@wolf: try one stick of rams at a time. the use a software testing tool such as burn-in test. if mo hang pa ba o dili. then update dri sa thread. much better if you will make your own thread because bawal na dri. madakpan ka ug citom. just my 2 cent.

download stinger at mcafee site. then run basin naay gagunit sa imo memory or memory resident virus

bay, whats the brand of ur unit? if it is sony, ana na jud ila mga sakit ana---fan problem. but if laing brand na xa, possible is sa board na jud ang problem ana. need na ana board level. ng-o-automatic shutdown mn kaha imu unit? padung na na xa bay,base sa ako experience. after ana mamatay na jud na xa ud dili na jud mo-display. mas maayu kun dalhon na nimu sa especialist. mg ngre-repair ug laptop bah. mka-answer na sila ana sa imu mga questions about laptop!
