Default cannot start apache, System process is using Port 80

Guys, help. dili nako ma start akong Apache server. sa xampp ni nga package. Nag port-check ko so I found out that Port 80 is used by another process, that's why xampp was not able to start. The name of the process is "System" with a PID of 4. I want to kill the process but dili nako sya makita sa task manager. so nag cmd ko, using TASKKILL /F /PID 4, pero ga error sya dili daw ma terminate kai access denied. nag try pud ko ug app from Windows Sysinternals: Documentation, downloads and additional resources katong ProcessExplorer pero dili gihapon niya ma stop. helo unsaon pag kill ani nga process.

anyway here are the details using TASKLIST

Image Name PID Session Name Session# Mem Usage
    System 4 Services 0 1,552K

Since it's running as a service, you'll need to stop that service.

Go to Control Panel --> Administrative tools --> Services

Tip: Some applications like Skype also use port 80, so stop it to run the Apache.

try a different port next time, kato sauna first time ko gamit ug xampp with skype nag conflict jud. so mao tong unahan nako padagan ang xampp dayon ang skype. later on naka research ko na pwede nimo usbon ang port na gamit sa imo apache, for example if walay conflict ang 8080, then mao na ako gi config didto sa apache config, xampp/apache/conf/httpd.conf; ilisi ang `Listen 127.0.0.1:80` into `Listen 127.0.0.1:8080` then kada run nimo sa imo localhost dapat naay ani: `localhost:8080`. pareha sad ani `http://localhost:8080/xampp/`
