At recent rhetoric last week MILF 's murad warns of catasthrophic war if their demand for ancenstral domain is not granted.

Maybe during the Ramos time the GRP might blink, they made a mistake in 2000 a mad man name ERap was occupying malacanang and was busy on its usual immoral coruption issues.

In 1996 onwards the MILF getting bolder and begins to gain strenght and wants to show its stuff attacking and bombming bragging about their suppose strenght year after year finaly when the MILF placed roadblocks along the Talayan-Shariff Aguak National Highway and occupied the Talayan Municipal Hall and comander BRAVOs antics in 2000 and carving a territory and try to immpose its owns sovereignty , and even impose it's sharia law on a public display firring squad in fulll press view local and international executions of "2 convicted criminal under the MILF sharia judiciary" it can not be ignored anymore. Thought it's true by year 2000 the MILF is capable of batalion size formations 300 to 900 men which is very dangerous considering it is shifting in conventional warfare tactics far from MILF, MNLF classic commander led formations of 30 to 150 men.

They took advantage of the GRP MNLF peace pact lying low after the treaty was signed by EDDIE and NUR.
Thay stock weapons including m-50 machine guns ,m60s lmg, great amount ammo and ordinace,manage to stock pile 81mm 60mm mortars, b40s rockets and also manage to learned and produce it own RPG-2 and some local variants which able to handle AFP's best of the best armor on some lucky pot shots includes at least one penetrating frontal armor m113-apc ,one back side of a marine V300 apc , one thru and thru the side of army's FV101 Scorpion LT their camps are well protected with connections and relatives in the MNLF run ARMM manage to divert DPWH funds for irrigation instead was use to build a concrete bunkers and trenches hidden with natural lawn of weeds and grass trees..etcc. .....

but despite to all of this crap the Marines and Army and some 5000 MNLF integrees was able to squash their self proclaimed county destroying their camps includings JDV peace nobel wanna be diplomacy gift of donated solar powered generator in camp abubakar and their conventional dream and push them back to guerrila type hypes.

BUt still its the locals who defended their local territory, governors, small town mayors barangay chiefs with cafgus and CVOs and local police stood firm against the attacking marauding milf rebels year after years until the political will order came out and calvaries of ARMy battalions, Ranger companies and the dogs of war the Marines was release and decimated them


seems GRP are taking in the position of strenght

should GRP give in and give more than what it give to the MNLF a bigger group if united

Imagine if Davao, Palawan and other areas in Mindanao would be under the Bangsamoro, would there be civil war?

It's not proper to just give in to their demands without the affected people on these places undergoing a plebescite.

I am still hoping for a peaceful resolution though...

GMA will try as much as possible to appease the MILF. She cannot afford an all out war on two fronts. Prior to the GRP MILF peace talks, 60% of the AFP strength were delegated to Mindanao. In her declaration to wiped out the CPP NPA NDF forces in two yrs., GMA needed to free & redeploy 15 battalions from Mindanao to Central Luzon, the Southern Tagalog regions, & the Mountain Provinces, thus, the GRP-MILF ceasefire. The MILF knows that this is to their advantage, thus, the additional areas in their demand for autonomy.

I dont know where these 1000 parcels of land is located but it is sizable and what Iam worried is that they might encroach to areas that are traditionally non muslims.

Or MILF just want the talks to bog down and force the issue into a referendum under the auspices of the UN. But theres the clincher, only the Muslims and the lumads will vote on that plebiscite which is means a sure win for seceeding from the republic.

The ancestral Domain they want is more complicated than ARMM in that big domain sharia law will be applied ,enforcement is limited to muslims only. But the MILF is talking as it represent the Muslim Filipinos majority many of whom are more than happy and satisfied with the present secular free society where you can practice any religion, do anything you want, wear anything you want say anything you want of course under the limitations of bill of rights but as we can the bill of rights is bigger than the known universe . And as for the ancestral domain Mr Eddie ramos had already bend and twisted the majority inhabitants of mindanao to their limits. Christian, muslim who dont support them and lumads,ethnic fil chinese ..etc against there will.THe MILF is not as big as it seems it wants us to believe it does not represent even 2 percent of the views of our muslim brothers ,

even the last major MILF combat incident was with a Local Muslim GOV.datu as many muslim datus of royality had its own mini army its just called CVOs militia(CIvilian volunteers org no pay on cafgus formerly CHDF had small allowances)for formality but its more related thru blood lines and more loyal to their datus than the AFP they could procure their own weapons ,in that one savage small war the MILF got the taste of its own tactic no rules the two are free to do anything without the rules of geneva conventions guess who lost many of the MILF fighters lost their homes and was burn to ground the two knows where the other lives,their wifes, children,cousins,even their dogs and they will fight to personal RIDO clan war level the AFP as usual if something like this happens which are normally occurs in the area sometimes families of other clan, sometimes commanders of other clan mostly personal wars they stay clear till its low enough to intervene.

After that MR NUr get all the glory even moving around mindanoa cities zambangoa ,davao, cotabato,gensan ,etc.. with his blazing gov authorize MNLF 100 body guards armed to the teeth moving around in big cities body guards carrying M60 machine guns and m203s. You can just imagine the people leaving in that cities seing MR nur roaming around with its body gurads and beeping horn like an ambulance VIP of their newly aqquired government funded from ARMM expensive SUV mostly ford 4x4 AND its forces scattered over many cities in mindanao.

the MILF tried to build a conventional army after the GRP-MNLF peace deal , it did so it could gain enough international prestige and belligerence that it had it own territory and constitution showing a public execution in local and international media of criminals tried in its own sharia court occupying whole rural municipalities and making road check points in hi-ways to show it authority and it is defending it and not trying to get it, trying to entice a united nation intervention kinda like a state to state negotiation a trap for the GRP at that time fortunately luck for them run out a high school drop out is occupying malacanang, a lot of people is disgusted with a mAd man Erap but he unknowingly maybe did a one sensible thing during his stunt in malacanang ordering to the decimate the MILF Conventional Army into A normal guerrilla gun kiddies
