How come Microsoft would have a name like "Microsouth" haha this is funny information.. MS will hire only the best from the industry.. I have few friends in MS Phils the Microsoft Office in Cebu is located in FGU.. that is only the satelite office outsite Manila.

Microsoft will open an office here in cebu which I guess its underconstruction right now in the heart of IT Park.. but for sure its not for development but for sales, trainnings and seminars as well as its own regional office.

Ambot kung mudawat ba sila new grads pero kung maayo mo mag-English, pirmi mo ka-quota at daghan mo business contacts (either corporate or retailers of IT products), I'm sure kuhaon mo. I'd like to confirm na Microsoft Southern Philippines is temporarily in FGU Center but their soon to be office will be in Skyrise Bldg. Transfer sila on October 30, 2006. For those na naglibog, sa una man gud naay MDP. sort of, gi-hire sila sa microsoft as a marketing arm - so third party. Medyo wala magdugay kay for some reasons wla cguro cla mag agree ni Microsoft. This time, naa na jud from Microsoft Philippines na representative. I know because I'm currently connected with a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions. I'm not so sure if Cebuano's are aware of our existence. Hehehe.

@TaughtWorks: Thank you for "unlibogizing" us I'm not sure what Microsoft Southern Philippines key market segments are but they must be strategic enough for them to actually put up a branch here. I just hope they don't turn up like other Makati-based companies who come and go when the market turns bearish (short-term outlook). Kawawa naman empleyado nila? Look what happened to Questronix, SSI, The Online Advanced Systems Corporation.
