God does not want you to be poor!
I truly believe in this.
Why?
Because He wants us to be good stewards of money for a greater purpose of serving the poor and the needy.
Here's an inspiring article from Bo Sanchez:

Arnold is one of our company drivers.

He’s married with three kids. They live in a little barrio in Tarlac. He goes home twice a month and works here in Manila.

Last week, my regular driver wasn’t available, so I asked Arnold to drive me to a meeting.

I was busy reading at the back of the van when he interrupted me. He said, “Sir, nagsimula na po ako sa stock market.” (Sir, I already started in the stock market.) I looked at the rear view mirror and saw his big, toothy smile.
I know Arnold. He’s a quiet guy who usually doesn’t start conversations. Especially with his Boss. But the fact that he did meant the guy was genuinely excited about what he was telling me.

I asked, “When did you start?”

“December po. Naghuhulog ako ng P2,000 bawat buwan.” (I started last December. I add P2000 each month.)

“That’s great,” I said. “So how much do you have now?”

“P17,000.” He said it with so much pride.

My jaw dropped. “How did that happen?”

Arnold explained that he put in P5000 last December. And from January to March, he put in P2000 a month. And the Stock Market multiplied it.

Arnold is so happy.

To you, seventeen thousand may be nothing. But to him, it’s the biggest amount he’s ever owned in his entire life. He feels good about himself. And he feels good about his future.

I’m very happy for him too.

So happy, in fact, I compared it to my own happiness when I do well with my Stock Market investments. Perhaps my happiness for Arnold was even more! (Helping people is the ultimate high. It fulfills us in a very deep way.)

In 20 years, if Arnold keeps this up, this driver from a small barrio will have 5 million pesos in his Stock Market fund.

In our ministry organizations, I’ve already taught all our employees to invest in the Stock Market—from our managers to our janitors. When you enter the office, you could feel a sense of hope. They know their taking charge of their financial life.

I want you to experience this sense of hope and excitement too. Take charge of your finances. Don’t leave it to chance.
