I already pmd zebran about this but for the sake of readers I would like to share that I am type A+ but have not donated blood ever since coz I have this fear of needles. Though I have a paramedical background and have dissected cadavers and stuff, I still am afraid of needles, especially if the assigned nurse is not so good at locating veins etc.

But I feel that it is my/our moral responsiblity to help a fellow human being in a life and death situation so if there arent enough donors then I would muster all courage to try this out for the first time. If there's anyone out there who feels and thinks the way I do (meaning hadlokan pero ganahan motabang sad), make yourself known or pm me so that we can support and encourage each other. If tawagon ta for a much-needed donation then we have to go there together sad ha!
