    battleships are considered obsolete. too costly to operate. with their enormous firepower and protection, battleships were increasingly vulnerable to much smaller, cheaper ordnance and craft: initially the torpedo and the naval mine, and later aircraft and the guided missile.

    corvettes nlng katapat ana. BRP Rajah Jumabon as flagship kay mao ang pinaka dako nato nga boat sa navy... yet alone more accommodating to the officers too. but dnt you worry guys. hamilton is on its way

    Correct! Even the USS Cole was severely damaged by a little boat.

    Small, fast, maneuverable. They should ask Cebu shipbuilders to make them.

    Btw, I looked it up, re floated, but cut up and sold for scrap because wala na'y hull integrity.

    yeah.. most navies now favored the corvettes and frigates due to its maneuverability. but with alot of its powerpack.
