Default Help: My GF's baby has not heart beat

    hi all,

my gf was 9 weeks pregnant. after her transvaginal ultrasound, we found out that the baby has no heartbeat. she went to her ob-gyne, dra. felisa del rosario in north gen hospital, and she was prescribed to take cytotec, which is commonly used for abortion. my gf just took the pill in her vagina as recommended by the doctor. is this safe? does anyone know how long til she can be admitted? the ob-gyne told her when she starts to notice spotting, but we don't know approximately how long that'll be.

also, am i correct to think the my gf will be d&ced (dilation and curettage)? im sorry but we're still both young and don't know much about this. also, i wasn't with her when she visited her ob-gyne.

and last thing, anyone knows dra. felisa del rosario? is she a good ob? and any idea how much this would costs?

    please advise!

    thanks!

in short bro, patay na ang baby..thats why she was recommended to take cytotec para mapagawas coz it might cause infection which will complicate your GFs health...

sus dodong, doctors knows best with their patient...

    Sorry to hear this bro.
They're right that your gf should've asked another doctor for a second opinion before taking a pill into hers. However, Dr. Felisa del Rosario is one the the best in town-word of mouth
on the other hand, if the finding was certain, then your GF was right.

This is fatal if not seriously treated (mom's womb may bloat and she'll get poisoned)

Dilation and Curretage may cost 2k-5k (some hospitals use high dosage of anesthesia (NUBANE) which may cause retardation if patient not properly monitored from time-to-time)

if its certain that the baby is dead already then the fetus should be removed from ur gf's womb, that's the reason why gipatake siya ug Cytotec-- this is actually a drug for ulcers but also known to induce abortion. if the drug was administered correctly, then spotting or bleeding may start after a few hours...
