So are you saying that the business permit allows you to stay on land you don't own?

I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just wondering what recourse you want to avail of. You say land ownership or tenancy right are not issues, and yet you want the government to allow you to stay because they issued you business permit, am I correct?

I'm saying that they should not have issued business permits when they don't want these people there in the first place! That would have left no room for argument.

Anyway, I'm not trying to create argument in this forum as well. I'm just saying the process in which these vendors were displaced should have followed a series of steps and should have been more humane for crying out loud! Dili kay diretso na lang ug karga ang ilang mga tindahan wa gani notice!

In writing this post, I also wanted people to know that there are people taking advantage of these vendors - nga naa'y magsige ug kolekta nila ug tag 20 kada adlaw, ambot kinsang bulsa padung. Karon luoy siya kay wa na siya'y ma kolektahan kay ila na man gipapahawa.

I agree nga naay daghang badlongon ug mga hugawan ani nila ug maoy angay badlongon. But the bibinceras have existed in this same location for decades and that was not a concern until now.

I'm merely pointing out that the system in Mandaue is still tainted with people on power-trips. What's wrong with giving people notice and ample time to relocate or move on?
