i have scoured the net for this information but i cannot find the answer to it.

how do optos convert eyeglass prescription to contact lens prescription?

i have always wondered how it was done but never did get an answer.

would someone kindly please tell me how this is done?

for starters here's my prescription

OD -5.25 sph -3.75 cyl x 170
OS -6.00 sph -3.75 cyl x 170
