Guys,

To owners of P990, is the unit really worth buying? I have read in almost all forums regarding the P990 but it seems that there are lots of complaints with regards to this unit. There are lots of bugs. And if you base it on the pricing, its going down fast almost every week. I know that when you buy in manila, you could get it for 33T.

There is no such thing as a perfect phone, esp. smartphones, expect bugs and such. That said, I read a lot of reviews from sites and forums, they said its an ok phone. Problem is, it was supposed to be released last year, now according to many, it seems outdated. But I think its ok, esp. if youre not really a power user.

i have p990i and yes there are bugs when you use it just after buying the phone... but after updating the firmware, goodbye bugs... although naa pa gamay nabilin..

There are lots of forums like www.howardforums.com and www.mobile-review.com. Whatever forum i go into there are lots of issue being said regarding the P990. I was also reading those forums before buying one since its not a cheap phone so i read alot of forums before buying. But i took the risk and bought one. But after a day i returned it. I have used P900 and P910 before and i can say that P910 was the perfect phone. I was just wondering why i didn't like the P990 very much.
One thing is the battery life. They placed a battery same sa K800 which was not ideal considering the features of tht phone. Another thing is that it was hard to use. I didnt have problems with P910 but when i used the P990, you just have to press alot of buttons to go to a particular feature.

The price drop i think is due to low sales because of these problems since why would one lower price when a product is in demand, right

This is proof that the phone really do have lots of problems since when the P910 came out, the pricing didn't go down as fast as this phone does
