That's the problem right there, the difficulty lies where to draw the line between being personal and professional? That is why never mix business with pleasure unless you're in the business of providing pleasure.

As for me, I have been attracted to my female supervisors and upper managers.. even currently I do have a crush on my company's lady Operations Manager but thankfully, hopefully it'll just remain there. Besides we do not socialize in the same circles.

Anyhoo, what if kaya? Hmmmm... I guess it can be done suavely and discretely as long as you're not in the same department :-p

i had a boss once who had an affair with another boss. it wasn't a pretty sight. one had to resign when they broke up because they can't stand each other's faces. too bad they were both good pa man unta when it comes to work.

There's nobody attractive enough where i work so forget it. Besides, if anything mga work flirtations that can lead to ioffice romance starts out platonic. Its really not one of the desirable places to have a relationship with someone. Work is work which should be separate from your pleasure principle. If you have maturity you dont need to feel that it inspires you to go to work because how about if that person is not there or you moved to another company does that mean you cannot go to work because you have no inspiration?

Sometimes it really depends on the type of work that you do, and the environment. In these economically difficult times the chances to socialize and widen one's circles are few on occasion. In working together, one gets the chances of getting to know a person personally.

Like for example the call center culture. These people work at odd hours. Who do they get to socialize it when others are asleep?

Relationships between co-workers are common enough to be accepted but relationships with the boss? Still a big no-no. There could be talk often enough malignant and malicious. Tsk, tsk tsk.
