Urbandub still has the same drummer, he was sick for a little while. The drummer who sessioned for some of Urbandubs gigs while John Mendoza was recovering is none other than Sua of The Ambassadors and the band thanks him for his time and talent
Regarding a new album? There will be one but they are not recording new stuff right now. They are writing new stuff though
