i've came across this when i read some posts sa xda na rooting does not void daw warranty. there are no sections in the warranty card that states na rooting will void it. HTC will still honor rooted phones daw.

thanks everyone... unfortunately I have a sony ericsson and they don't
seem to be as forgiving as HTC because in their "help forums" it's
posted over and over that rooting voids the warranty

I have yet to get official word back from sony ericsson though

if you have issues with your phone and you return it while it is rooted then your warranty will be considered as void ... but if you unroot your phone first before returning it, then i think the phone's warranty will still be honored .. i don't even think they will know that your phone has been rooted once... sakto ba ko ?

Most hardware defects aren't serious enough nga dili ta maka-unroot.
Daghan naman sa mga android forums nga nag-unroot kay naay slight hardware defect unya napa-service pa gyud nila free under sa ilang warranty ;D
