Help - My laptop audio has distorted sound intermittently when playing mp3/audio?

My laptop model is K42F-VX178 that has Intermittent distorting audio sound problem and even playing Audio/Video from youtube or any other movies with audio. At first use of this laptop I noticed this problem but I ignored it coz I think its normal maybe some program running such like antivirus that scans every time. But since then it occurs intermittently so like what I said I ignored it.

But then lately, I noticed its no longer normal coz it occurs every now and then but intermittently when I play mp3 audio sound either in the middle, beginning or ending of the track it occurs once or twice. I also upgraded my RAM from DDR3 1066 2GB to 2 X 2 GB DDR3 1333 so right now that was the new setup. Okay back to the topic...these are things I made testing on the laptop.

From basic to advance test:

Basic.
1. Play audio from different players still no luck still the problem occurs.
2. Update the CODEC from CCCP to Klite Codec full version still no luck still the problem occurs.
3. Play audio from Optical Drive still no luck still the problem occurs
4. Play audio mp3 even using Windows 7 generic driver still no luck still the problem occurs.

Advance
1. Reformat I think more than 5X but still the problem occurs.
2. Reformat from Windows 7 32bit to Windows XP32bit thought its the windows 7 issue still no luck still the problem occurs..
3. Reformat using Windows 7 64bit and currently using this OS but still the problem occurs and its getting worst.
4. Update the Audio Driver to latest still no luck still the problem occurs.
5. Update the latest BIOS model still no luck still the problem occurs.
6. I used DCP Latency Checker it has so many failures during test such like dropouts. still no luck still the problem occurs.
7. Burned test using Seatools all test were passed! still no luck still the problem occurs.
8. RAM memory test one stick at a time still no luck still the problem occurs.
9. Passmark burntest still no luck still the problem occurs.


So many test I made on this laptop but still no luck. I don't want to conclude the HARDWARE but today when I open a software EVEREST Ultimate Edition my system FREEZING TOTALLY as well as the audio sound so I rebooted it coz I can't even press anything on the keyboard to bring it back to windows. I heard so many issues about everest that freezes your computer so I think that's not the main issue but the AUDIO distorted sound.

Please help me I'm stuck with this. Thank you.

unsay original OS ani pagpalit? why not use the recovery disk to reinstall..

Wala ni dala OS sir pag palit ako ray ga palit ug OS ani na Windows 7 32bit original then ako gi palitan pud ug 64bit Win7 karon as current OS gi use. I think naay fluctuation ani sa hardware.

I think I need to warranty this aron peace of mind. Gi kapoy nakog troubleshoot still no luck.

possible naay bulsot ug bangag ang speaker. like naay bata nag gamit ug pin, arpiril ug dagon.

if bnew pa na better ipa warranty na nimo.

tried na using official drivers from asus?

@eXpLoDe: Dili pud na mahitabo sir kay walay bata sa amoa! also di man ingon tungod sa speaker na buslot kundi kanang ig play nimo sa sound mp3 kay mo kalit ug krrrrrrrrrrttt then back play to normal again.

ok. if u have ubuntu or other live-cd OS, i try daw ug boot if u will have same cracking/distorted issue sa imo soundcard. if wala, try switching from asus drivers and latest realtek audio drivers. of course make sure u installed asus drivers for all the other devices...

@werty: Thanks sa reply...Sir ako ako nana gi buhat as stated sa akong first post kay gi update na nako into latest driver. I also tried installing REALTEK HD Driver as well but still mo occur gihapon cya.

Also when using DCP LATENCY CHECKER sir na software makita jud nimo ang dropout sa sound audio ig karat niya....wondering diin gikan gi follow na nako tanan instructions same no luck.

I don't know asa jud ni ang prob sir woi give up nako ani...hurot oras nako ani pero wa ra gihapon.

ok so how about using another OS or maybe linux live-cd? for all we knw, bsin d na driver related and the problem will still occur even with any other os or drivers...

akoa. ana pud.. pero ang distorted sound.. mugawas lang if I play live streaming music... especially if pakusgan...

sakit sa dunggan paminawn... realtek akoa
