do you mean 30 millimeters? are you guys refering to shooting macro?

m sory i was referrin to an object's size, its length probly. and yes as wat dey call it macro.

hit your subject with the bounced light and as well as diffusing it, lesser power at target.

i jus dont get ds..layman's term pls..thanks

remember the minimum focusing distance of the lens you're using

yes it has macro feature..dis flower thingy..d only prob s im encountering reflections and blurs..sometyms "dim" shots..s distance a factor of these issues?thanks

wikitoy: we went over there last sunday... yep, 400D is a good camera... i would say its better than my 350D... hehe..

...trying to capture the clothing patterns... ...always came out linear in digital what was supposed to be fishbone in film.

the problem is most digital sensors capture an image through a bayer pattern...



then interpolate the red-green-blue pixels to form other colors. that sometimes
causes a moiré effect (sometimes called a maze effect) in the image...



this is diffrent from the way film (and also the foveon ccd) captures color. the
red-green-blue layers are stacked on top of each other so individual colors are
captured in each pixel without the need to interpolate. therefore producing
the image closer to as it is in real life.

moiré can be avoided by using higher resolutions. try shooting that suit again
with an 8 or 10 megapixel camera ( the D70 you used is only 6)

abortretryfail - we found that out later on. too bad the old d70 was the only digicam in there. the photog was just too lazy to scan and wanted a digital shot ready for the website.
