answer to your question: high frustration tolerance...hehehe

don't hate psych majors oist.hehehehe. non-psych majors hate us because of our tendency of using too much defense mechanism is too irritating already since they're not like us that could easily defy the norms..based on my experience..hehehe

    OT: ayala avenue, makati..hehehe

@mitch_a888: so failure for defenses would result to higher frustration tolerance? wouldn't it result to lower self-esteem as defense mechanisms are used to protect the ego? *me thinking*

i do not hate us psyc majors oi. i SOMETIMES hate us. hehehe. (defense mechanism nako). mostly because kung magpundok daghan ug kamao, wa kay lusot. hahahaa.

OT: gosh, makati jud ha. mao diay wa na ko kita nimo. kudos! HR ka gurl?

@thisbe: yep, you've got your point there. lower self esteem. i say high frustration tolerance since defense mechanism is used by everybody to hide something coz they were afraid that the other party would change their feelings towards them when they could find out what's with the inner persona and so frustration will arise.

yer right, saba kau kung magtapok kai palabwanay naman sa knowledge. touch dayon ang ego.hehehe

OT: yep, HR japun ko diri.hehehe..ikaw?

My defense mechanism tendency is Withdrawal as in...its my last draw and totally fed up. I will no longer associate myself with all the triggers that made me feel that way.

Defenses are ultimately something we do to protect ourselves from pain. While we all use them when troubled, we generally come to a point when we face our problems and don’t have to rely so heavily on our defenses to protect us. Defenses become unhealthy when we refuse to face our true experiences, thoughts and feelings. Several problems develop. It basically goes back to understanding yourself more and trusting yourself as you learn to trust others. This makes us more human.

    OT@mitch: HR as usual. hahaha.
