hahahaha...... khentoii.... sakto na depende sa situation..... probably if mo ask man gani sila ana na type sa question... they might be asking coz they want to verify that the papers you presented is yours... mao ni ask sila asa imo name did2 sa paper na imo gi present.....

basta tarunga lang gyd tubag... mga psychologist man gud na mga consul..... balibalihon kag question.... sahay pa gani same question e balik-balik ug pangutana.... basta act natural lang, ayaw ka rattle, and be consistent... coz if you act weird... they would start to think na naa kay gi taguan.....

just be consistent...your answers should be consistent with the documents that you presented.
Answer directly or straight to the point...dont add other topics that might trigger the curiosity of the consul...basin adto ka birahan ug pangutana ug tuwad-tuali unya mag ka tuwad-tuali imong tubag...denied gyud ka dayun basta dili ka consistent.
Ayaw paghimo himo ug document...or dont present fake documents.

If you are only earning 20k a month...unya mo present ka ug financial data nga daghan ka ug kwarta sa banko or daghan ka ug properties...aw, bisan kinsa mahibulong ngano daghan ka kwarta sa banko ug ngano daghan ka ug properties.
just be honest and proud to declare that you are earning 20k a month, ayaw ka hadlok or ka ulaw.
all of us likes honest individuals...di ba?

kadtong akong post nga where is your name is also a tricky question... sipyat kag tubag, naa chance decline imo application... pero depende na sa mo interview pod nimo...

bitaw, basic question diha is "Why do you want to go to the US?" Important documents should be brought like bank statements, credit card statements, ... But do not show those documents to the interviewer is you are not asked to... and remember, just relax...

Mao ni question nila sa ako during my interview.... I hope it could give an idea to all first timers...

    Me : Good Morning Ma’am!
Consul : Good Morning! How are you?
    Me : I’m good…
Consul : So tell me, what will you be doing in the US?
Me : I’ll be sent there for a training.
Consul : (Checked the papers) So your working for ___?
    Me : Yes ma’am!
Consul : How long have you been there?
Me : Two years! I just got two years last March 25…
Consul : And how much is your monthly salary?
    Me : _____ pesos…
    Consul : _____… Ok…
: So how long is this training?
    Me : 3 months…
Consul : Why is there a need for a training?
Me : Well… there is this new project which they would want to be transferred here in the Philippines, and I was one of those who were assigned to do the task.
Consul : Has your company sent other people to US before?
Me : Uhm… Im sorry? (I asked her to repeat the question again since I was not sure to what people she was referring to… the company sends people to US for different reasons…)
Consul : I mean did your company send other employees before, for training in the US?
Me : Yes, but they were from the other teams doing other projects. There are only two of us in my team and both will be sent for training. We’ve actually tried to do the training here in the Philippines, via phone, but it did not work out because of the time difference here and in the US. Our counterpart would usually end up sleeping late. They think it would be better if we’d be sent there so that training will be more absorbed.
Consul : So for the whole 3 months what will you do there?
Me : Uhm… It’s in our training plan.
Consul : (Scanned the documents that were with her) Where’s your training plan? I don’t have your training plan…
Me : (Scanned the documents that were on my hand) Oh, I’m sorry, its here. Would you like to see it?
Consul : (Looked at the Training Plan) Ok…
    : So are you married?
    Me : No ma’am.
Consul : Do you have any children?
    Me : None.
Consul : Have you ever traveled outside the Philippines before?
    Me : No ma’am.
Consul : I’m sorry but as of now, you do not qualify for a visa.
    Me : Oh… Ok… Thank you ma’am…

Denied gyd dayun ang show.... hehehe....

darklight: it is very important u have also traveled outside the philippines... the US embassy will look for countries u have traveled... dapat dili pajud ASEAN countries like singapore, malaysia, indonesia, thailand... kay these countries are near to our country... kay if u have traveled like japan, europe, africa, china, australia, then dako chance ma-approve imo visa application...
