don't mind them my fwend. Focus lang jud sa imong work. An expert said, "small minds discuss people, average minds discuss events and great minds discuss ideas."
dont mind them....cheap na sila..........
You can do one of these things:
1. Confront the source of the gossip. If you are somewhat confrontational, this will be quite easy. But if you are not, you need to be extra strong, as confrontation involves talking about the nitty gritty of the gossip. When confronting the source, make sure to discuss only the problem. Avoid attacking the person, their character, and their personal life. Also, try not to create a scene. You don’t want to turn the gossip into a scandal. So calmly talk to the person and tell how the gossip has been affecting you. If you’ve made it pretty clear that you want the gossip to stop, that person might be sensitive enough to make up for their mistake and stop gossiping about you.
2. Be professional. When you know you are being talked about, continue to be the refined, educated person that you are. If you see your officemates crowding in one corner and seem like talking about you, don’t go in their direction and retaliate like a kindergartener. Instead, retreat to your cubicle, do your job, and pay no attention to them. Sure, it is quite hard, for how can you ignore a group of people acting like buzzing bees? But it is much better not to stoop down to their level.
3. Lay down your side of the story. If the rumors floating around your office are completely untrue, immediately take action. Go to the source of the gossip and tell them directly your side of the story. Or you can choose to tell it to your closest officemates. In a few days, the true version of the nasty rumor will spread like a wildfire.
4. Reclaim your office reputation. Whether or not the gossip is true, it is important to rebuild your affronted office reputation. If the gossip is true, start to develop a lifestyle or habit, whichever is applicable, that is totally different from what you used to do. If the gossip is false, continue to work hard so that the office gossipers will find not a slightest hint of tarnish to take against you.
ignore them..prove them wrong through actions
Wala tay mabuhat ana. Deadma nalang and trabaho ang importante.
Advice lang unsaon pag likay ug gossips and chismis. Don't trust your officemates regarding your personal matters, especially concerning problems. Secondly, make sure you are neutral at work, and make sure your performance is above average to excellent, but as long as you don't step on somebody's career.
