not exactly bro.. if the celts will continue to lose their games and the heat will make a run at the 2 spot and win their remaining games then miami would hold the 2 spot... if they'll end up with the same record the celts obviously will have the number 2 spot. which means the 2nd round would be miami and celtics assuming both teams will win their first round.

With their visit to Minneapolis Friday, the Heat has completed their tour of 28 arenas as the most hated team in America.

LeBron James got roundly booed as he was announced. Carly Simon’s “You’re So Vain” blared over the sound system at Minneapolis' Target Center as the Heat were introduced.

“Everyone has really bought into this 'hate the Miami Heat' thing," said James. “That’s OK. It’s just basketball.”

Some locales are more hostile than others. The Dec. 2 visit to Cleveland was probably the most intense non-playoff environment the players had ever experienced. Chris Bosh’s first visit to Toronto was filled with jeers and a bizarre conclusion when Bosh got cheered for blowing kisses to the crowd.

But for the most part the routine goes like it did Friday night in Minneapolis. There were boos during warm-ups and for the first few minutes. But after awhile, the fans forgot about it and became enraptured by the Heat’s overall star power.

The Miami Heat is moving towards signing Eddy Curry for the playoffs, front office sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Heat president Pat Riley made plans to bring the 7-footer to Miami early next week for a workout and a medical physical with the ultimate objective to sign him, sources said.

Curry’s weight and personal problems have derailed what had been a productive career. It is believed Curry still weighs more than 350 pounds.

One league source estimated the probability of Miami signing Curry at “better than 50-50.” The Heat would need to cut a player for the playoffs, with rookie Dexter Pittman as a likely candidate to be waived
