regarding safety concerns as long as you release the sky lanterns in optimal weather conditions(not windy, not raining), open space(no tall trees, electric wires and tall building) and a good quality sky lantern then for sure there will be no danger. we sold a thousand lanterns last december 2010 and there were no reports of crash from our customers. our only experience with crash was yesterday because of the rain, 4 out of 70 lanterns crashed.
