1) Taxation: as a citizen, it is our DUTY to pay our taxes (cge, since apil mga pari sa discussion, nagbayad ba ka ha na sila? i dont think so. so why are they complaining if di wa man diay sila nagfollow sa rules? or maybe i'm wrong, basin nagbayad sila?..)
2) safety sa mga prosti...heath risk (HIV/Aids), abusar sa bugaw, abusar sa client..etc

Prostitutes and pimps (as they call it) will need to have licences. This way, the government will be in control of those who force women to become prostitutes. Obviously, this heightens the chance of catching illegal 'bugaws' that uses underage women as prostitutes.The Brothels and other casas will also be under the monitor of the government to insure that there will be no underage minors working as prostitutes. Another point would be to increase the health awareness of prostitutes, if they are educated enough to know the risks of STDs and HIV/AIDS, this will may lower the case of the spreading diseases. Then, there is also the tax, well, I have already stated my opinion on this and I think Eve has already stressed this point long enough. There is a lot of points that we can point out, those however have already been said in my previous posts.

I respect your answer and there's no need to be aggressive about it. This is meant purely for discussion. I am not the president so I don't have the power to legalise it. What I can only do is to express my opinion.

You have also said it yourself, our very own Catholic leaders oppose better family planning which could mean progression and improvement. Immoral deeds? Look around you, prostitution is already out there right in front of our eyes. Premarital *** is already an immoral deed as per the Christian belief so that makes it no better than prostitution.

As what Eve have said earlier, it would be best if you would read our previous posts. My argument is not based on the current situation of our country seeing as that prostitution isn't the main problem our country currently has.

As for the phenomenon, yes, you may explain it through science but stating the co-relation of earthquakes and prostitution is totally irrelevant to the matter at hand.

As what i said before prostitution started even BC time. Even sa time ni Jesus Christ laganap nana ang prostitution. The issue of how gov't control this prostitution nalng unta ang e tackle on how to control or avoid prostitution? But to allow this no way!...

One thing pud, mau ni effect sa economic crisis sa pinas. Ang tao mo kapit patalim nlng kaysa mamatay ka na delat ang mata? Imagine sa mga progressive countries gani ni exist pani sa Pinas pa karon? Chain re-action na brod unya mo increase pud ang crime, rape diha sa pinas..

i hear you bai..kung sa pinas na mahitabo karong adlawa..the my answer is NO..basing on current cultural issue that we have..not a chance...i agree nga dako kaayo tag problem sa pinas karon. this will not be the top priority. i would say that EDUCATION is the most important thing to change (aside from the whole overhaul of our government). when we are already well-educated, & maybe di na ta POOR country (which by the way, I DONT think we are) then opening this topic in congress will be worthwhile...

Lets face it, bisan unsaon pa, bisan asa pa..naa juy mga lalaki or babaye nga mangita og short time..no string attached nga lingaw...i am not in favor of this by the way but this is reality.

Your questions have been answered by what you've also said on the latter. It's because the government ignores the prostitutes. Do you honestly believe that prostitutes don't want help? Turning a blind eye over them makes the matter all the more worst. Why would they even ask for help if the government won't grant it firsthand? A prostitute can't work inside a school, university nor inside a college. Students are subjects by their own school laws and prostitution inside a school has always been illegal.

Balik na sad ko ani, this topic isn't the same as a simple 1,2,3... there are a lot of considerations to be looked at and laws to be made. Basing it one example doesn't testify all prostitutes in the Philippines.

As what Eve used as an example, the "wang-wang" law was a special law created for that sole purpose. This may also be applied with prostitution. The government can make special laws for it.

Could you show us proof that government officials don't use condom and that prostitutes don't ask them to wear one? Even bar girls carry condoms with them all the time and they won't have *** with anyone not unless they agree to use it.

Avoiding or eradicating prostitution will never happen. If you may let me use your argument above, do you honestly think that the government or any other government in the world will be able to completely remove prostitution? Since 2000+ years ago?

No one is forcing you to say yes bro, but it would be better if you could hand out points why prostitution shouldn't be legalised as well. This is a discussion after all.

going back to AIDS issue: AIDS & HIV is not cause by prostitution...if it was, then wa na tay prostitute sa tibook kalibotan. it was cause by people who has unprotected *** with multiple partners & by blood transfusion. like sa thread yesterday, sa pagsaka sa HIV/Aids sa Call-center ang mga prosti ba ang pakasad-an ana? or ang mga ignoranting mga tao nga gamit kay gamit lang (some of them married pajud). having multiple partners & being unfaithful is the reason why matakdan sila...
