no probs.. basta connect your laptop to wired connection then download recommended driver..
here's a few lightweight distros that I may suggest:
1. Peppermint OS (super light weight) it is cloud centric and it is reported to revive old laptops / desktops. it is based on LUBUNTU which is even lighter than XUBUNTU.
to install drivers for wifi at the terminal enter
sudo apt-get install b43-fwcutter
2.. CrunchBang Linux (Debian based)
3. Linux Mint 9 XFCE a Long term support ubuntu based distro (up to 2013 April)
4. Linux Mint xfce Debian
to install ani pwede ra USB, of course check lang if capable ba ang laptop to boot from USB, been using these set up so many times, pang back up sa computer nga dili na mo boot sa windows. search ra ug Universal Linux USB Installer, been using this thing for a long time now, useful kaau.
Just like in Ubuntu. Way to go man!
Kumusta na kaha sa bonot?
