@ironelyn i saw the account and pics. Tsk tsk very UNPROFESSIONAL of the person who owns that account. Valid/justifiable or unacceptable reasons for being AWOL, your company should do legal actions and not humiliate those specific persons. Such an immature act. sorry, its just my opinion.

@cococrunch: if u only knew...I myself can attest to that..been working there for almost 3 yrs,iv been so loyal to that company..but NO COMMENT!! i dont care if they posted my pics there..its not a shame in my part coz i know whats the issue and the story behind all those employees who went AWOL..

hmm come to think of it.. for a company to post such on facebook maybe those employees really deserve it! You see, you only get to think of those who went AWOL, but what about those employees remaining on that company? Why do they stay? if that company is really that bad i think they would have closed it down right? for me we have to also look at the whole story. so far it is only goldi's side we have come to know so far. if it is true you have been loyal to that company as what you have stated 3 years?? why go AWOL?? why not face them and why answer back in here?? if I believe I am on the right track ill face the company and make them understand what their problem is.. coz even I agree with you that what they did posting on facebook is wrong, I also strongly believe running AWOL is not anything close to being right! In my experience, those who go AWOL are usually the ones who are in trouble following policies at work and they would never do better at any company.. well just as I was told.. this is my personal opinion... thanks everyone. mao gani ang problema miga kay unsaon pag terminate kay wa naman nagpakita. di man makig communicate. if muadto cla ug i-clear ilang name ma settle jud tanan.

i was on the peak of my disappointment when i posted this thread coz personally naa nag awol sa akong team..1st awol for a year. carefree nga grad student. then wa jud mi problema. pul-anon lang jud cya daw..she went awol sa call center nya before sa wipro. we had a good relationship. i dunno what happened to her. her friends too were surprised. feel lang daw nya..that's why i was on the peak of my disappointment the reason i posted such thread..wa ko mag dahum i could get a lot of responses..
salamat sa nyung mga responses both positive and negative ones..i am not the owner of the company but i feel for the company coz ang uban man gud miga ila jud tawn ning panginabuhi...same in my case since i am a mom myself...
and FYI: that FB account is not my personal accnt..di pud ko magbuot buot ug himo ug account sa company kay empleyado ra pud ko..di ko ing ana ka gamhanan..salamat.
as far as i can remember, di man gani mu terminate ang company..even though how heavy ilang offense, ipa advise to resign lang para dili pud bati sa ila resume...if they want to be terminated at least due process...mao ra man na gihuwat sa company miga..na klaro ilang paghawa..if di na jud cla mapugngan like one case here na mulargahay na jud cya just last week, gi arrange ug dali iyang mga classes and she was able to get her pay...mada ra man ug sabot sabot ba..sinabtanay ra man unta na..murag na push naman lang gud ang company coz daku man pd ilang loss when these things happen..mabuthan ang mga nahabilin..thanks..![]()
in our company an employees who's away for 2-3 days without any communication with its sups can already be called as AWOL. SOP is to give RTWO (Return to work order) to his address. If he won't show up the company will release him/her. If he/she does, mag.admin hearing with the HR and the employee. EVERYTHING should be documented and signed. Even the RTWO receipt. DOLE will check it if ever the employee will complain. grabe kaayo kastrict amo company with labor code.
@ironelyn your company is not following labor code. the management is acting immature and childish posting those pictures with their real names, birthdays and address. Companies aren't suppose to expose those stuff to the public much to their offenses.
