it's because it's a community driven operating system.. what ever errors found or a much better source.. mo update dayon na sila for the sake na dali nalang ang pag gamit sa operating system..
why gamay lang ang updates sa windows..
because it's a proprietary software owned by microsoft.. the community (end users) cannot change or add codes to windows even it's for the benefit on microsoft..
lets say.. some users make viruses for linux... let's say it's a success virus.. then here comes another user who detects the virus and made updates in order to get rid of the virus..
when this patch goes to your system.. the virus that the user made will no longer be effective.. so this is the advantage of linux from a proprietary software such as ms or mac.
