Im NOT saying na we should forget our past, but lets not make the past the foundation of our decision on todays problem, let the leasons from the past be lessons not foundations of our decisions..

are we a christian country? did the bible tell us and continually teach us to forgive or maybe we read it wrong?
or maybe God wants us to plant hate to somebody for eternity?

DO we allow ourselves to be continually divided even in issues that was resolved a couple of decades ago?
Is hate the foudnation of this country?

hmm.. i smell bunch of hypocrites in here..

let bygones be bygones and we should move on! most of us did not even have the slightest experienced on what happen during those days..
This is not about hate bro this is about justice. Nothing was resolved a couple of decades ago. Vast sums of money went missing, people "disappeared" and the country stood still instead of progressing primarily because of the selfishness, greed and tyranny of one man and his family. A place in the hall of shame would be more appropriate as so many abusers successfully wait for the dust to settle after being busted then begin again to leech on the nation like vampires.

    Sick ni na topic.
    What nerve sa Marcos family.

This goes to show that a lot of Filipinos are tolerant of being abused.
Singapore or China pa ni hangman na dretso tanan involved.

We always love sugar and acid treatment.
and we tend to forget the acid....we only remember the sugar.

    like,

bahala na ug acid basta tam-is man pud.

    You got it wrong.
    It is not about hatred.
history has no place for hatred but it perpetually seeks justice.

You are right in saying "those who still live in the past, wont move on and succeed".
But this should apply more to the Marcos family not to the country.
They are the ones living in the past.
They are ones trying to change the course of history.

    Are we a Christian nation?
yes, and maybe that is one reason why we are still a third world country. maybe that is one reason we can't move forward.
Or maybe we misunderstood the Christian teachings?

Like, you ask "Why can't we forgive?"
    The Marcoses?

The Bible teaches forgiveness but only after one admits guilt.
Accepting that you are a sinner is an important condition before you can be forgiven.
Did anyone from the Marcos family adimitted guilt? I don't think so.
    None.
They are still trying to rewrite history.

So the question now is, if no one admitted guilt who is there to forgive?
My opinion in this issue is NO, he has no place in the LNMB.
