TIPS: travelling puppies/dogs from manila-cebu vice versa

just an fyi to all....

i just brought home with me a 2 month old pup through PAL (manila-cebu). i did the same about august last year. wala ku problems last time but this time around, according to the quarantine officer, naa daw new law that only pups/dogs 3.5 months old and up will be given a permit to travel. i reasoned with the officer that i was not aware of this new law and after much pleading and explanation and after confirming with their vet that my pup is of perfect health with up to date vaccines, he gave me the permit to travel but informed me to be aware of this new law the next time around. so to all those of you who have plans of shipping pups, please be aware of this

oh this is the reason sa prob kato usa nga istoryan.
i think its an internal memo/policy of BAI
because i am not aware of any new "law" regarding this.

sir i just wanna ask.....pila ang shipping fee sa puppy from manila to cebu via plane?....plan man gud ko mopalit ug puppy sa manila.....tnx

ok ra bitaw ang mactan airport sa pg.ship ug pups bsan 2 months lang..ghapon paku nag.inquire.
according to my source, november 2010 pa ng.implement ug 3 months with anti-rabbies ang airport sa manila..ambot nganung la ni sya n.implement nationally.

the pup + crate that i brought home weighed 3.6kg and i paid 675. but they will measure man sad your crate. naa sila some sort of computation to get to the amount that you will need to pay. combination of the dimensions and the weight. wa pa ku ka try ug zestair. i tried ra PAL and cebupacific. ang PAL kay ma kuha na nimu ang dog dinha with your luggage but ang cebupacific kay you have to go to cargo to get your pup.

im talking to a chihuahua manila breeder these past few days for 2 new acquisitions,
and she confirmed that indeed there are new regulations being implemented
by BAI at Manila Airports.. ang puppy kuno lagi kinanglan 3mos old na before ma ship
kay they require anti-rabies shot before shipping. for adults and 3mos+ puppies pod,
the anti-rabies shot should not be less than 1mo. from the time of shipping,
or else dili pod issuehan ug shipping permit.
