Bai di raman sad na sa gitara, if I were you with that budget maka palit nako ano ug maayo nga tube amp like Fender Blues deluxe or Peavey Classic 30, guitar na Les Paul or a fender Tele na US made or even a PRS SEII with P90 pick-ups, or Japanese guitars na Lawsuit era. Plus pedals na botique like BK Butler Tube Driver, TC Electronics na chorus/flanger, RC/AC Booster by Xotic pedals, DD-20 na boss or Line 6 nga DL4, plus pick-ups na Seymour Duncan and good cables like George L. Don't go for the signature series, look for something that would bring your own identity, as they say tone is in the fingers. Even if you have the same rig as Joe, you will never sound like Joe. Look for your own tone and identity, sooner or later you'll realize that having a great guitar is not always the way to go, but having a good guitar a sense of tone and skill is. Also invest on a real good tube amp, because your guitar will never sound good in a bad amp. practice is the key word.

    just my 2 cents

I'de rather invest my money in some rare or vintage guitar, because their prices will never go down, Ibanez Joe Sat series you can get that easily in the States. Most collectors right now would go for a vintage or even a Japanese Lawsuit guitar like Greco, Tokai, Burny, Orville, Aria Pro which can be easily be bought here in the Philippines from surplus shops and around 15 to 25k or buy and sell sections in manila depending on the condition, but in the US they go for as much a $2000. And these guitars sound the same or even better than their American counterparts.
