Obviously , you will never see a video about their military and its issues being a communist country . Now if you insist , why dont you look it for yourself to satisfy your cravings na ang CHINESE MILITARY walay issue pod .
Calling China a communist country is a convenient excuse for not coming up with evidence. Why should I be the one to come up with the evidence that you need to support your outrageous claims. Merely saying China is communist and therefore this must be happening because in your mind you are absolutely convinced it is despite a complete and total lack of evidence to the contrary, is to me an insult to plain intelligence. Besides which, welcome to the 21st century, China is not a communist regime and it is not, contrary to what most ignorant people think, a dictatorship. There is a reasonable level of media activism there, that is why kidnapping and slavery of children by gangs connected to powerful government officials was blown wide open by the media. Blogs, internet forums, etc are also free to operate there. Seriously, study China and understand it, its shadow will loom very large in our region in due time and it is important ordinary people have a workable understanding of its political, economic and military system.

Besides which, even if we were to say China accords with your fantasy view that is akin to some pure commie nation like Stalinist North Korea, you should know that in communist regimes the military is treated better than the civilians and so they would never allow this kind of thing to happen in the military as the military is the vanguard of the party. If you are in doubt of this, research North Korea's "military first" policy.

Now you are speculating . Which training is RETARDED ? The AFP's ? Bantog ra ang mga puthaw nila magellan gi pildi sa bangkaw nila Lapu Lapu .
On what am I speculating? That technology trumps backwardness? Citing Lapu-Lapu as an example is too funny, because that happened hundreds of years ago and Magellan was caught completely off-guard. An invading force today will strike first with all the weaponry they have and will cause incredible devastation to a backward defending force. That is not speculating, that is based on recent history.

Lol ... and what is there for Philippines to invade ? You are comparing apples and oranges now ... you can do better than that .
Oh brother, if you're going to avoid the issue of FAILURE.. that is the complete and total failure of our military to make any headway into all the wars they are engaged in, then so be it.

We are not GENIUS GENERALS nor GENERALS ourselves , what we are , are mere people who just happened to know whats going on in the military in general compared to being ARMCHAIR GENERALS .
That you have yet to prove. However, the former is abundantly clear.
I dont know . How did you know also that the video was meant as a training for soldiers in captivity ? Because thats what it says composed by the leftist who uploaded the video ?
I honestly don't know what the video is meant for, it is too retarded to be comprehended by a right thinking mind. Maybe it is meant by the AFP to engage in self-ridicule and to distract people from the many scandals affecting its top brass. I don't know. You are supposed to be an insider, why don't you ask the AFP, which admitted to the authenticity of the video (surprise, surprise) why this kind of 'training' is happening. For all we know it might be a weird psycho-sexual turn on by the field commander, maybe he masturbates to half-naked soldiers being beaten by a belt while crawling on mud. Who the hell knows. All I know is the video and its content are retarded and absolutely ridiculous.

But if you ask why such torture training existed , it is preparing soldiers psychologically not to breakdown easily which the bootcamp cant provide .
When a chinese interrogator shoves an electric baton up your behind, you will break down instantly. That is not speculation either.

You are so proud of the CHinese Army ... what do you think also if these Chinese Soldiers are the POW's of AFP ? Well ... it shows who follows the Geneva Convention ... ooops .... ayaw pag google ha .
I'm not proud of the Chinese army, but I'm a realist. These Chinese soldiers will not be POWs of the AFPs because the AFP will not dare take Chinese soldiers prisoner because they know they cannot win a war against China. And in a real war between the two countries, much as you and other believers here would deny it, China will win in one day.

hala ka oy, what a bunch of whiners.

i had ROTC training way back and our trainer was an army ranger. we got our fair share of that kind of treatment but of lesser gravity but i didn't whine. we got "kidnapped" at night and got interrogated and "tortured".

i was the smallest in our group and the skinniest but i didn't whine. my mother didn't recognize me after a month.

and i agree with springfield, we have a lot of good soldiers who excel at what they do given the limited resources. there was this sergeant who shot at a can successively (about five times) and it was rolling down the hill. and he was using an old m-16 a1. from 300 yards

The AFP has already made a statement to the effect that the said training exercise was wrong and the practice has long been stopped.

But one junior commander went on TV to explain that the soldiers shown in the video was only acting....LMAOL. he just shoot himself in the foot!
Did the dude commander really thought that anybody would believe him?

what a very lame excuse....well, that's my AFP, what do you expect?
