Why is lifting weights so mentally liberating?
Maybe it's the feeling that you achieved something.
Maybe it's the feeling of conquering a seemingly insurmountable task.
Maybe it's the feeling of rebelling against the natural condition of your pitifully human existence.
Maybe it's the feeling of being in control of something, because life is out of control, and you can't control anything, except maybe this weight.
Maybe it's the promise of become something MORE.
