I personally know Eli. I will hand out maximum infractions to individuals here who express that he and his fellow students are "whiners" because I will consider it a personal insult (and moderator disrespect will have dire consequences)--these people are our countrymen and they are just looking for channels of communication to air their grievances--calling them whiners is not helping them, helping us, or anyone else. Please pocket your politics--for now, just pass the word and hope for the best.

i dont know if its polite enough but i find your bold statements offensive. i understand your sentiments because the subject is someone you know. i would probably do the same but as a moderator i would have at least tone down my statements so as not to offend anyone. Its not that your a mod that you can threaten anyone here.you have my utmost respect and every mod has my respect but dont just degrade yourself.

The internet is a medium, much as "air" is the medium to conduct speech. As thus, like you cannot own "air" you cannot own "the internet". However, a venue is something that can be owned. A forum/bulletin board is indeed a venue for discussion. Since a venue can be owned, an internet forum therefore, is private property.
