As far as i know Yakuza syndicate is not a bad element in japan society but a peace keeper, instead. Maybe sa una na time nag dala jud ni sila og gubot but karon, sort of mo protect pani sila nimu if u'r a businessman but in returned lagi u have to pay them money...
I remember when i was in Japan way back 2k in front of my hotel na-a ddto nag stay ang mga yakuza. I've noticed mas langas pa ang ordinary citizen compared to them esp. mga teenager. Then one time kita jud ko namadlong sila...

By the way japanese people will keep their promise and has word of honor. If they failed " Harakiri " is the answer.... So these are one of the diff. between Filipino and Japanese mentality and they are more discipline than us...

Hopefully as soon as Japan will recover, magbinut-an na unta ning mga Yakuza and use their influence for a much better cause. Undangan na unta na nila ilang drugs, prostitution, and human trafficking.

Ang nakanindot gyud aning Japan is because they really uphold honor.

    One word... EPIC.

OT: This is one of the reasons why I'd trust a Japanese more than a Korean. You know why? Koreans are like Filipinos only with a different color.
