pls help sa mga expert dha sa networking, i have a problem..
bag-o lng ko gitauran ug globe boradband, pero di nako ma share ang internet. gusto ko makaacess sad ako laptop, so nipalit ko ug router na BEFSR41, unsay ako buhaton para ma share nako ni, kay ganina ra ko cge ukay ani wa gyud nako ma share ako conection.
naa pa bata i configure sa router/mofem?
pls help.

magka yagaw jud na imong set.up bro kay kanang imong globe prolink modem/router the name itself palang modem/router so no need nana imong linksys nga router kay kanang prolink modem na xa at the same time router pud..imong buhaton e.dritso nalang nag paslak sa switch nimo ayaw nag ipa.agi sa router nga linksys yaw nag labda imong ulo ana...jaz like wat i did sa akong set.up am a globe user also.. .hope it helps...

Maka libog jud ang net nimo ana..... ang modem/router nalang gamita nga gi provide sa globe then switch.

use the modem/router directly to a computer....check ip address
if ip address does not start with 192.168.xxx.xxx ------>connect the modem to linksys router to the WAN port
Otherwise you can use the switch directly to the modem/router

same as ronchiejames instructions pero imo buhaton imo i clone then ma ok nka... MAC
same as what i did sa ako net at home....
you can also google it..naa mga pinoy forums migo... google is your best ally!

The main reason why you can connect to the Internet with your current setup is because, your wireless router and modem/router from globe has the same IP address and it's in conflict in supplying your laptop with DCHP address.

Modem/Router from Globe --> IP: 192.168.1.1
Wireless Router --> IP: 192.168.1.1

You Setup: MODEM/ROUTER --->WIRELESS ROUTER ---> SWITCH

is correct, but your IP is in conflict.

To rectify this issue, access the Wireless Router Admin, and change the IP Address of the Wireless Router to other than [192.168.1.1], save and turn off all devices for at least a minute then turn them on again with the same connection above. Check your wireless laptop if maka.connect na ba.
