Malapascua or Bantayan island?

pls daw hatag mo approximate expenses for both. i.e. transpo, food, drinks, accomodation, etc. please pud include travel time...

been to both. for couples, i suggest malapascua. very remote and very romantic ang place. not so very expensive man sad. kung off season, around p400 ang good for two. just be cautious bout the weather. na timingan mi ngadto ug bad weather, makamatay ang kadagko sa balod. very very scary... suwayi ninyo diba mo flashback jud ang imo life sukad pagkabata.hehe. bitaw i prefer Malapascua.
PRO's: very remote, very small island, very romantic.
CON's: ang ever makamatay na balod. scary.

In my opinion, i think Malapascua is overrated when people say its Boracay twenty years ago. The sand isn't as fine although admittedly it is as white. The water fronting the long stretch of beach is not that clean considering most pumpboats dock right in front making the water a bit oily at times (like Sta. Fe Resort in Bantayan), unless you stay in LOGON Beach Resort where you have your own beach cove. Malapascua is relatively more rustic and unspoilt. And one major major plus is the DIVING.

Personally, i think Bantayan should be likened more to Bora than Malapascua---sand is not as white but it is as fine and the sand stretches out into the clear waters as far as your toes can reach. Plus the sandbars make it all the more enchanting. No snorkeling or diving here though.

didto naman jud ko anang 2 ka lugar.....mas ganahan ko sa bantayan kay pino grano kaayu ang bas....murag ice candy! virgin pa kaau ang palibut nya mostly ang mga taw didto kay local tourist ra....nya sa malapascua murag commercialized ra kaau nya dili kaau puti ang bas dghan pa gyud hugaw...murag naay tujom ug sa sawaki.....sa bantayan wala ko ka matikod nga naay tujom didto kay limpyo man wala man gani bato....

i've only been to malapascua earlier this year (in may) and so far, it was a great experience. truly an island getaway. i want to go to bantayan island soon.
