Your Tourism Proposals For Bohol

Do you think Bohol has potentials to expand its tourism drive and go beyond the conventional means of attracting tourists the world over?

If so, what do you foresee of its future? What will be the next attraction Bohol should or is capable to offer?

Mine would be:

1. Turn Bohol into Kayaking Capital of the country. With its pristine, lush, crystal clear water shorelines and unique seascape, Bohol will possibly become the new haven for kayak and watersports enthusiasts.

2. Install Cable Car network (and I mean cable cars like in Langkawi, Malaysia) from the Ilihan Hill to the highest peak of Mayana, Jagna town. The mountain range surrounding and overlooking Jagna town proper is ideal for a picturesque, breathtaking aerial ride.

3. Create a Theme Park + Zoo in Dauis, Panglao island. Imagine screaming your heart out in the morning riding the most daring rides like the Slingshot Ride, then head out to the idyllic beaches around Panglao for a late afternoon swim.

4. Zorbing + Paragliding. The long and high treeless, grass-covered mountain range bordering Ubay and Mabini would be the perfect place to zorb (a huge, transparent ball with a chamber for its rider inside, rolled down a track on a hill) and paraglide over the rolling hills that run towards Ubay town.

There. That's my dream for Bohol. What's yours?

2. coconut products -jungle wine, vinegar, oil, etc.
3. carabao zones
4. tarsier zones
5. restaurants and spas featuring organic vegetables, herbs, hilot

actually there's new attraction soon to open. and i am so thankful that i'm part of it.
AIR DANAO ADVENTURES (A.D.A.) will soon launch hopefully in July 2011. i think VP Binay will be there.
i have been waiting for this project since Febuary pero daghan kaayo circumstances nga nakalangan sa maong proyekto. maayo unta masugdan na nila.

it will be in Danao, Bohol... where EAT Danao is famous of... samut na ni madugangan.

A.D.A. offers: -- an open cockpit aerial tour- utilizing an ultralight aircraft.
-- Paramotoring, Powered Paragliding, conventional Paragliding Lessons and tandem rides.

i'll just see you pohon-pohon. kung kita mo ug opaw about 5'5" height, doula lang. paila nga istoryan ka... ride with me and then i'll let you control the plane for few minutes. maayo nga deal ba ni?



naa pa lain diay. from what i heard gasige pa sila survey for another zipline location in Danao, Bohol. aim nila nga maslampasan ilang zipline length to 1.5 kilometers. whewww!
then sa Catigbian, tingali'g mag-put up sila same attraction like in Danao. then naa pa Loboc diay.

@warwick: pwede ba kaha zipline connecting that mountain in Panglao Island and Banat-E Mountain in Tagbilaran City? sus, maka imagine ko perting daghana magpila ani. so google map, about 3km ang sukod.
then naa pa from Banat-e Mountain to Eli Hill in Uptown Ubujan about 6km. both location are safe from aircrafts landing the city airport kay sulod raman sa 500 feet nya dili sad masulod sa flight pattern for landing/takeoff.
