We're all probably aware of what happened in Japan a few days ago. Even though the huge quakes and tsunami have subsided (are there anymore aftershocks?), there's still the problem of their Nuclear plants and the damages this disaster has caused.
While others might think that previous disasters shouldn't be forgotten (Hurricane Katrina and Pearl Harbor trending? Seriously?) and that fans are overreacting with their worries for Japan, i believe that no one deserves to be in pain and to be unaware of their loved ones' safety, whether you have a relative or a friend or you're simply a fan. It's sad how some people think it's ok for the current generations to be in pain because of what a few people of a previous generation did. Nobody deserves anything like this disaster, even maybe
these idiots. The world doesn't need to stop, yes, but we can be sensitive about it and care.
There's probably a thread here already that is about donations and contributions (or you can read
this). This thread will be about Seiyuu, Mangaka, Music Artists and other people who, as enthusiasts of different fandoms, we care.
For those who'd want to check their loved seiyuu, mangaka, music artists, game industry people and whatnot, you can check it
