i think the bigger news should be that there is already a cure for hiv (according to what i read here), this is what the media should have put more emphasis on...

a cure was claimed but was not proven, so there is still no cure for HIV only maintenance drugs to prolong your life or suppress the virus enough as for a total clean cure there is none.
