Need Help... Heterometrus Longimanus VS. Spinifer

To all the Scorp Masters:

I am a newbie in this hobby. Currently I have an Emperor Scorp and a Heterometrus Longimanus. I would like to add in my collection a Heterometrus Spinifer, but I find it difficult to distinguish from a longimanus. I tried browsing the net and the pics of the two are so similar, I just could not tell the difference from one to the other. Can anyone help me how to distinguish a heterometrus longimanus from a spinifer? Please advice. Thanks in advance.

you can take a closer look at their chelae bai. longimanus has a longer, thinner one. opnion ra pud nako. plus mas dako2 ang spinifer paminaw nako. hehe

this is an accurate difference of h.longimanus and h.spinifer. that shaded part of the carapace are granulations.

The difference between the H.longimanus and H.spinifer is very noticeable... Sa pincers pa lang... the spinifer's pincers are shorter but thicker than that of the longimanus. Also the texture has a difference.. please take a look at the photos from my collection below para ma differentiate nimo.. Hope this helps..
