Ok, I know most lift for one reason or another, what I meant by the form/function question was, which do you work on predominantly?
I lift because it makes me calm, it relieves me from the stress of everyday life. I dont lift just to get laid, for me its for than that. Maybe I got motivated mainly because back then I was very small and weak.. that i struggled just to get my BMI to normal LOL and people kept telling me i had no chance of getting big and strong.. but as they say.. "people will always bring you down.. its all up to you.. if you want to go down to their level or become invincilbe.." lifting for life

Kaz was World Strongest Man winner for 3 times. Now he is one of the commentators of the event IIRC. We might never reach his level of strength, but he is more than worth emulating.
i don't lift yet, but i'm planning to lift one of these days.
i would like to enroll as soon as possible.
im a slim guy, thus i would lift in order to gain weight and bulk up!
My goal?
To gain at least 10lbs after 2-3 months of lifting!
I'm not sure thought if it's possible! lol
i lift because i want to build muscle and confidence
ive been skinny my whole life...nothings more rewarding than being happy and feel good about yourself.
