Default Re: Aquino to raise joint South China Sea oil probe to ASEAN

are you serious? you saying we just bow down to China and accept a 90-10 split?,
10% cause we only supply cheap labor. As if China's minimum wage is greater than ours
90% to them cause they are the one gonna do all the rigging with their own products. As if they can find oil by themselves and set up a rig without the West assistance.
i find your statements really ridiculous, you basically saying ASEAN will not have fair claim to the resources and stupid enough not to ask for Western technology and infrastructure and/or poor enough to setup an oil rig.
Please we're not gonna stray to the issue comparing unrelated things. In worldwide perspective Chinese products are poor in quality maybe your commie Chinese medias says otherwise lol no amount of words would change that.

One thing is certain, no countries can setup an oil rig at the Spratly. The last time China did it, the Vietnamese scare them lol.

Romeojin you must be seriously delusional if you think anyone scares the Chinese.

We may as well accept a 90-10 split, because the alternative would be a 100-0 split, heck they might just take a chunk of Mindanao while they're at it. Don't ever make the mistake of thinking anyone will come to "rescue" us from China should a minor war break out between the two. Nobody helped Georgia against Russia, and nobody will help the Philippines against China. The only end result will be land taken away from us, just like land was taken away from Georgia.

The way I see it, our fate was already sealed a long time ago during Estrada's presidency when the American bases were removed from our country. Crying about it now is like crying over spilled milk. All these resource rich areas are gone, when China makes claim on them no matter how flimsy the game is over unless a country like ours seriously thinks it has a chance of surviving even a one day war against China.

well the spratly is still hotly disputed. A joint negotiation in oil rigging is a positive move but if it will just end up unfairly, well we just have to accept this virtual stalemate. Even the US is asking for a peaceful move on this, but they dont like this ASEAN negotiation.

Of course they dont like it, they dont want China getting stronger and if its oil they want it themselves! they trashed 2 countries already for oil and a huge chunk of it for that matter.

Another thing the US is only standing strong on words againts China but its just partly plublicity to keep thier image as the world superpower, while thier economy and debt worth trillions is owned by China. "war isnt much a matter of military as of money" Russia beat the crap out of Germany during ww2 by shear resources and numbers not by technological advantages nor allies (note: Russia didn't have proper allies during ww2 as a result of the Russo Jap War.)

@Romeojin - You know what I wont argue with you anymore, 20 years from now you'll still be alive I hope and you'll see the big picture and rethink about your notion of China the substandard country.

OT: heck if China wanted to they could conquer the PH by using only patrol boats armed with missiles. The mind bloggling number of them and Chinas production capacity would be more than enough. But they wont and one of the reason is they would have migranes just trying to govern half educated *****s.

The US doesnt like it cause in the first place China is not a part of this joint venture, thats why they are asking for restrain. Before we engage into conspiracy theories between the US and china, lets examine the fact.

this would be my final words on this thread, we are talking about china and it had nothing to do with this thread. I should had not bother asking about the 90-10 split, to think of it china wont have no share with the this propose joint ASEAN oil project .

    OT:
china wont dare hitting any country, if so they would have an island in the Spratly by now not just reefs. They can waste oil running their patrol ship while the troops of Vietnam, Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia etc sits on the bunker of their occupied islands playing majhong

I know you wont reply, but you still read.

Did you even read the thread title? China has nothing to do with it.... right... O_o

your OT statements, is the exact statement Tibetans, Vietnamese and Indian leaders were thingking decades ago until China literally beat the crap out of them and stamped the Chinese flag on thier land. As for Taiwan thers no need to hit Taiwan, thier influence alone is making other countries turn thier back on Taiwan economically, that alone is enough to make them surrender not now but slowly and surely in the future.
