most lockpicks are DIY.. sayon ra man himoon. the skill also encourages to improvise kay usually there are situations when one has to open a lock in an emergency.
to answer your question, yes you can buy tools, except that possibly u can not buy it here locally. order lang ka thru internet.
@tophat:
This is a very interesting thread bro. This thread actually gave me some interest in learning how to pick locks. I very much agree that this is a very important and practical skill.
I don't think that lockpicking is bad but rather on how it is being used. Pareho ra ni sa pusil. Ang pusil pwede gamiton sa sakto such as self defense or by the authorities to enforce the law or pwede pud ni gamiton sa daotan such as hold ups or to shoot people without good and legal reason. Depende ra gyud na sa tao.
As for me, since this gave me some interest, I will start to learn this. I believe that there is a lot of materials on the web nga makatabang nato. Palit na lang ta ug locks to practice.
when man ta ani maka try?nahan ko ani bah..incase of emergency...og atleast aware ta bah...nga pwedi ra diay ni ablihan og maka extra safe pata sa atong haus kay kabalo naman ta nga pwedi ra diay ni ablihon nga ingon ani....
