da, asa mu sugot ang China nga sila mu mine then ASEAN members mag leech. 90-10 cguro ang 10 bahala na ang ASEAN mag bugno sa ilang share. lol
kasaligan ba diay ang chinese oil rig?
Chinese Oil Rig Falls Into Sea - CBS News Video
of course mangita gyud ug kasaligan with latest technology na foreign companies basin mapareha ni sa US; fish rich area bya dinha sa spratly.
btw dili man ni the whole ASEAN, those countries with claim lang sa spratly. Together with China and Taiwan ang split.
^^maytag dili na sila magka misunderstanding para walay gubot...
@Romeojin - accidents happen, the only difference between China and the West is when something happens China admits to it, the West blames other shit in order to keep a good track record, its business. btw: daghan na kaayo oil rigs sa west that went up in flames. And for you to have kept your notion that everything Chinese is substandard you seriously need to open your eyes.
its not that Chinese products are substandard, Our country imports substandard products from China because its freaking cheap and sells like hotcakes! <-- one of the reasons that made people think that a China product is substandard, when in fact most of thier technology is bought and developed in partnership with Europe and other well established tech advanced nations.

@masakiton - role model gud sa PH gov. ang mga binoang sa west. mao btw palpak kaayo. shesh
@wikki - im just responding to your statement na "90-10 split" why would China have the large cut whereas the proposal is a joint venture? kay China made lagi ang oil rig? there are many companies can provide this venture with high tech rig and investment can be pool by each countries involved equally. It wont be an unfair split.
Chinese products gets more than its fair share of blame. New machines, no matter where made, go through a shakedown period. If it's got Chinese in it, it's magnified in the telling.
plus there are info that the mechanism that led to US oil disaster is made in China
http://www.indyposted.com/34109/chin...ive-oil-spill/It is an additional embarrassment to China that BP sent a blowout preventer that was on the ill fated BP oil rig to China for repair. The Guardian reported on this aspect of the Gulf oil spill as follows.
BP ordered the owner of the Deepwater Horizon rig, whose explosion led to the worst environmental disaster in US history, to overhaul a crucial piece of the rig’s safety equipment in China, the Observer has learnt. The blow-out preventer – the last line of defence against an out-of-control well – subsequently failed to activate and is at the centre of investigations into what caused the disaster.
The role of shoddy equipment in both the Gulf and in China will come under increasing scrutiny as the oil industry comes to grips wilth the dangers of off shore drilling. Buying consumer electronics from countries with cheap labor is a matter of personal economic choice. But what are the implications of outsourcing the manufacture and repair of critical oil industry safety devices to China? Will the Chinese government be cooperative in answering the questions surrounding the equipment they manufacture for the oil industry?

@Romeojin - So a blowout preventor from China gets blamed while the dumb US crews that caused the thing to blow up in the first place gets a heroic medal for surviving (ever heard of counter propanda?). btw China isnt the worlds leading tech producer especially when it comes to oil rigs, the US which values quality so much ends up having a Chinese parts when the rig sinks and has US and Europian rigs advertised as "safe and never fails when thier still floating" yeah right. And if they knew Chinese parts were substandard why even risk a single stupid part on a multi billion dollar rig thats pumping your economy? I dont think they would even think about it, its a blame game when something goes wrong and the US never points its figer to itself, it never has and it never will. It's like the Dont Ask Dont Tell doctrine being practiced in thier military, its how you keep your superior image over others while the economic game.
a single Chinese rig sinks and Chinese products gets branded shit after that, while who knows how many US oil rigs sank, fuel tankers(sank) and Jet liners crashed and they get a stamp of quality??
It's like the medical industry of the US, too many times thier products came out to be substandard but what happend to the news after 48hrs, it just went silent without us ever hearing from it again and then theres an advertisement of how quality thier products are.
It's the same thing Arroyo was doing in her days where she always says the philippines is experiencing growth while it was the opposite just to keep investors coming. Or as the US is now saying that thier economy is recovering but in reality it really isn't and the US borrowing China trillions to save its economy is being advertised as an economic partnership. go figure.

@Romeojin - another thing Aquino is now proposing this since he knows China will eventually develop rigs over the spratleys and harvest the resources there, and theres not a thing the philippines can do given its political influence and military standing. might as well call it a partnership while the PH still has some influence over the spartley's and gain something from it.
OT: When it comes to a nations economy and ultimately power standing in the world, Ignorance in thingking that Western states aren't capable of doing unrealistic and ubelievable acts of evil and cruelty only proves you have been thouroughly brainwashed by Western media. Read thier history of how they came to be, more or less you will find genocide in every event that they made a step up their previous standing. There are no exceptions.
