Hehe. Not at all strange. This is an all-too-common, all-too-familiar problem when facing malware.
Anyway, I skimmed through the log that you sent me. As I have a fever right now, that is the best I can do. I'll be more thorough tomorrow once I'm well rested.
In the mean time. Here are some contingencies for you that might help us narrow down to the culprit.
I saw that you use Avira(Nice, my free AV of choice, too =P). Update that and run a full scan. Then, get
MBAM. Run a full scan on that, too. Re-run hijack this and post your log as a text file on
codepad.org. Post a link here.
I would say you could easily Google for it but, in your case, I guess it isn't. So I'm providing links this time. I'll check it as soon as I can, tomorrow.
Hopefully, though, MBAM would take of the problem as this sounds like a simple browser hijack.
