Uncle Sam is a BIG hypocrite.

U.S. is the U.N., remember the Iraq sanction when U.S. undermined the U.N.'s decision?

America pretends to be the great liberator of the Free world when in fact it is Corporate America.

If America is indeed the great liberator, why don't they financially liberate the Philippines which are mostly composed of educated, english-speaking citizenry and where the biggest military bases outside mainland U.S. are or Mexico who is just right over the border. Why because these countries don't have oil and the potential immigrants are potential liabilities? What about the Puerto Ricans?

Why was the U.S. meddling with then Vietnam & Kuwait? Now Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and North Korea? It is not their war, why meddle?

What do you mean financially liberate the Philippines? Why should they? Shouldn't we be responsible for liberating ourselves?

Don't you live in the U.S.? I find it somewhat distasteful that someone who has immigrated to the U.S. has such an ungrateful attitude towards his new home. Philippines is in a financial mess because our leaders are selfish retards, even if the U.S. forgave $10 Billion of our debt, our politicians will just borrow $20 Billion more and pocket 90% of the funds.

Not all people living in America including natural-born Americans from 10 generations back, like the system of government. Why? There is not longer republican or democrats, there's just lobbyists. Because what the government is doing "somewhat distasteful" from immigration policies to meddling with other countries when the people are jobless, homes foreclosed and some is unbelievably hungry. America in itself is in a big financial mess right now (subprime housing) which could have been avoided but the government and corporations connived and turned a blind eye because of greed. Isn't that somewhat distasteful?

and so are other countries, but Uncle Sam "liberated" them because he can get something in return. that would mean our country is a cheap whore.
